Severe fire danger|temperature soaring| Exhausted Fireys |Horrific season | Hellish Conditions

Severe fire danger ratings across multiple states with temperatures to soar on Monday and Tuesday

Exhausted fireys have faced difficult conditions in this year’s horrific bushfire season — but tomorrow’s heat will be one of the toughest days they’ve faced.

Exhausted fireys have spent weeks fighting hellish conditions to try to bring dozens of uncontained bushfires under control.
But with temperatures forecast to hit up to 43C in parts of NSW tomorrow, firefighters are expecting tomorrow to be the “peak day” of fire danger.

The Bureau of Meteorology has painted a grim picture for the coming week, with winds forecast to whip dangerous fire grounds.

And if the smoke haze wasn’t enough of a stark reminder of the bushfire devastation across NSW, ash and blackened leaves washed up on Sydney beaches over the weekend.

The sheer magnitude of the blaze means the demand for fire trucks cannot be met.
